If you wish to book an appointment sooner than what is available on the website then you may text me to see if I have an opening, I often do.

PRICE

Although there is a price list here, I always charge according to the amount of work it takes to groom your pet. Usually, I would know upfront upon seeing your pup the amount of work it may take but occasionally I won't be able to tell until I groom them. I always communicate when that happens. I am fair with my pricing and my pricing is reasonable for someone who has 20 years of experience.

TIME

Grooming can take as little as 1 hour and as much as 5 hours depending on the dog. All haircuts take at least 2-3 hours.

I kindly request not to text to ask if your pup is ready and also not to walk in the salon to check if they are ready. This really delays the process and breaks my focus on what I'm doing. texting me or walking in won't make the grooming go faster. I take my time with each pet and this is why I don't have incidents at my salon. i may take a little longer than other salons and I understand if that doesn't work for some people. If it's been an unusually long time and you are concerned, I completely understand if you text me. I usually text people letting them know there is a delay first if that is the case. My goal is always to get the pet done in an efficient manner and I do have their best interests at heart.

With that being said, if you are someone who wants your pet groomed quickly and priority over others then you may book the first slot at 10 am and they will be my first pet to finish for the day naturally making the process quicker for them. You may have to book more in advance for that.

If you need your pup done by a certain time, please ask me prior to booking the appt, not the day of.

DIFFICULT DOGS

If you are NEW client and have a dog that is aggressive while being groomed, has a traumatic history with grooming, is heavily matted or has a disability please text me the circumstances so I can book you accordingly. Please do not make an appt on the website before speaking to me. If it's too much to text you can leave a voicemail explaining the situation and I will either call back or text you back.

INJURED PETS

I have seen countless injuries where people try to groom their own pets. It's your decision to try and groom your own pet but if you cause harm and it becomes a pattern, I will not accept you as a client any longer. The reason is because I do not enjoy seeing pets harmed and it also makes them afraid of the grooming process, making my job more difficult. Part of my job is to get dogs comfortable and happy with grooming and I take great pride in that, If you harm your pet that way it can undo all of my work with them.

Furthermore, taking your pet to other groomers can undo my hard work as well. Dogs relax over time with the same person as long as they aren't being hurt. If you take them to someone new you are running a risk. I've had people take their pets to other groomers for a lower cost then bring the dog back to me and sometimes it can become harder to groom. In that instance, I may charge more. It's your pup and always your decision what you want to do but this is just my friendly warning of the risks involved. Thank you for understanding.
